Account Executive

The Account Executive is the face of Aeritae in the marketplace. They care deeply about the client experience and are adept at articulating Aeritae’s unique value proposition to prospective clients, current clients, and our partners. They have a deep understanding of Aeritae’s capabilities and the technology marketplace and are able to listen and interpret the needs of our clients to provide business value. Key accountabilities of an Account Executive at Aeritae:

  • Focus on net new sales while also cross selling within existing clients
  • Establish trusted advisor status with clients, prospects and partners
  • Execute on territory-specific go-to-market plan
  • Prioritize weekly business development activities
  • Bring a collaborative and coachable mentality to work each and every day
  • Attain quarterly sales goal
  • Sell across the enterprise

You’ll be responsible for:

Acquiring New Business:

  • Prospecting by utilizing individual network, tools and news outlets to identify organizations that would fit our ideal client
  • Maintain adequate pipeline coverage to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Serve as a steward to your clients and to Aeritae by ensuring expectations are set and the opportunity creates mutual value

 

Developing and Maintaining Account Strategy:

  • Building and maintaining a weekly, monthly and yearly business development plan
  • Account-specific roadmap plans for strategic accounts
  • Adherence to ensuring all data in Salesforce is accurate and up to date
  • Building brand development and recognition by representing Aeritae in the community and marketplace
  • Creating, building and maintaining relationships that grow business opportunities
  • Ability to prepare and present professionally to clients and within Aeritae
  • Collaborating and supporting marketing with event & campaign preparation and execution
  • Thoroughly sharing services, cost, details of the contract and providing information to project teams
  • Utilizing partners to collaborate on selling into your accounts
  • Complying with our partner sales accreditation requirements
  • Utilizing and maintaining records in Salesforce.com, OpenAir and other company tools

 

Ensuring Client Satisfaction:

  • Attending and/or facilitating regular communication both internally and externally
  • Follow-up on client satisfaction in the form of CSAT’s throughout the course of a project/client relationship
  • Aligning the needs of our clients with the capabilities and services we offer

 

Creating Business Value for the Client:

  • Maintain a complete understanding of Aeritae, our capabilities, services and processes
  • Stay curious and involved in the industry; following and responding to industry trends
  • Utilize and prepare documents as needed (Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosures, Statements of Work, etc.)

You’ll need to bring the following experience:

  • 7+ years sales experience in the technology industry and/or Professional Services
  • Existing C-Suite / VP / Director-level contacts
  • Strong, documented track record of achievement against quota
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong business and executive level sales acumen
  • Strategic problem solving, decision making and execution skills
  • Self-driven, motivated and results-oriented
  • Desire and ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly
  • Excellent time management, adaptability and prioritization of competing demands
  • Highly adaptable and willing to dive in
  • Excited about working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Reliable vehicle and/or ability to travel from home to necessary locations
